Project Description

With Freemansburg Borough experiencing a 39% growth rate from 2000 to 2010 (the largest growth for a Lehigh Valley Borough), the Borough expanded its Police Station with an addition to its municipal building. The 3,000 SF expansion improved the existing Borough offices and houses the Borough’s Police Department.

The addition provides modern facilities such as new offices, a file room, a data room, two holding cells, an evidence room and a shower facility for prisoners.

Local casino impact fees funded a majority of the project costs.
