Project Description

Cetronia Ambulance Corps shared its new facility with the Lehigh County Forensics Unit, which is a critical component of overall regional emergency responses, natural disasters and everyday medicolegal events occurring within Lehigh County and its surrounding areas.

The garage space houses Lehigh County’s hazardous materials and special operations vehicles, assuring rapid response for any homeland security or safety concern. An educational center allows for community health training and education programs, as well as opportunities for joint emergency preparedness training at both the local and state levels. Furthermore, the co-location of the Coroner’s Office brings new opportunities for medical training for EMS personnel and first responders. The 10,000 SF Coroner’s Office is twice as large as its past facility in the old County Courthouse.
