Project Description

The Venel Institute is a top-rate medical training facility where doctors are trained on the latest equipment and technology. The facility is state-of-the-art and provides a relaxed, comfortable experience for medical professionals in a high-tech environment. Venel’s offers flexible space including an auditorium with cutting-edge audio/visual equipment. Comfortable locker/changing rooms and a spacious, naturally-lit dining area for catered meals help make the Venel experience as relaxing and productive as possible.

Venel leased a vacant office building with a dream of creating this state-of-the-art facility. Boyle assisted Venel through the design and vision process. We started by demolishing the 11,000 SF facility. Boyle completed the entire interior renovation including the lobby area, office space, locker rooms, cafeteria, lecture hall and training labs. Technology was strategically placed, so that board room media presentations could be broadcast and viewed on any of the Institute’s multiple flat screen TVs.

The Venel Institute’s most impressive and accommodating feature is its expansive surgical training wet lab. It totals 3,000 SF and has 16 bioskills lab stations. The entire space can divided into three individual training rooms.

In addition to pre-construction and facility planning services, Boyle developed multiple budgets, performed value engineering and facilitated the bidding process. We also provided full-time onsite supervision, scheduling, submittal review and approvals, weekly progress meetings and reviewed monthly invoices, change orders, etc.
