Congratulations to the Reading fire fighters, paramedics and the City of Reading on their ribbon cutting ceremony for the new 9th & Marion Fire Station. Boyle was proud to manage the project which was built across the street from the original station. The 16,505 SF station has three bays for ladder, engine and paramedics. It was built with state-of-the-art amenities including a decontamination room, bunk rooms, training area, kitchen and eating area and an outdoor patio area. Former Councilman Strat Marmarou was responsible for getting this vision off the ground in 2016. Marmarou and his wife toured the old fire house and saw the tough conditions the fire fighters were working in and he was determined to make a change to give the first responders a new home.
