Jim joined Boyle in 2017, after working for five years as an Account Rep and Assistant to Vice President Major Projects for a leading international vertical transportation provider. Before that, Jim was a Marketing Manager for online consumer publications. This extensive service background facilitates Jim as a Boyle Project Engineer, assisting our project managers with successfully managing construction project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Jim is meticulous and efficiently collaborates within our project teams, owners, design professionals, and subcontractors.
Jim’s tasks include responding to RFPs, attending pre-bid meetings, and creating estimates and proposals. He vets subcontractor proposals, procures trade work, prepares AIA contracts, applies for permits and variances, leads weekly project meetings and maintains minutes, processes submittals and RFIs, and manages project document controls, including change orders, purchasing, contract administration, and field changes. Jim also distributes documents throughout the cross-functional team, completes detailed progress reports, reviews and processes subcontractor and supplier invoices, creates as-builts, and performs closeouts. Jim has an MBA from Lehigh University and received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dickinson College, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
