We are excited to share the integration of the InSpire Wall Solar Air Heating System by ATAS International on their building expansion project. Manufactured by ATAS International, this cutting-edge technology is a game-changer in sustainable building design, offering numerous benefits for both energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
How It Works
The InSpire wall system is a transpired solar collector mounted a few inches from the building’s outer wall. It features precision perforations that allow outside air to travel through the panel. As the solar-heated air is drawn through these perforations, it rises between the two walls and enters the building’s central ventilation system. This process pre-heats the outside air before it enters the building, significantly reducing the energy required for heating.
Benefits
- Energy Efficiency: By utilizing solar energy to pre-heat the air, the system reduces the building’s overall energy consumption.
- Improved Air Quality: The system enhances indoor air quality by ensuring a steady supply of fresh, pre-heated air.
- Carbon Reduction: The use of solar air heating panels reduces a building’s operational carbon emissions, which is better for the environment.
- Summer Cooling: During the summer, the system helps reduce the cooling load by preventing solar radiation from striking the building’s main wall, keeping it cooler.
This innovative technology aligns with our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. We are excited to see the positive impact it will have on our project and the environment.
