LVHN and community leaders gathered on November 1st for a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off construction of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Tannersville. This 20,000 SF hospital, located on the former Hunter Pocono Peterbilt truck dealership site on Golden Slipper Road, will feature 11 ER beds and 10 inpatient beds for those requiring overnight stays or additional monitoring and testing. In addition to the neighborhood hospital, a health services building, the Health Center at Tannersville, will be built on the same site. This health campus will provide access to 24/7 emergency care in a convenient location.
