Our team recently had the opportunity to volunteer at Camelot for Children’s 40th annual summer camp, and it was a day we won’t forget.
Camelot for Children is a nonprofit that creates year-round programs for kids with serious medical conditions or disabilities. Every summer, they host a camp that gives these kids a place to feel included, supported, and free to have fun, at no cost to their families.
This year, our Building Better Together committee helped create a mini construction site and a “measuring treasure hunt” activity designed just for the campers. Complete with clip boards, tools, and custom-built challenges, the setup was built to inspire fun while learning about construction. The kids dove right in, exploring, building, measuring, and playing alongside our volunteers.
It’s always a privilege to step away from the jobsite and spend time building something different: connection, confidence, and joy. Our team looks forward to supporting Camelot’s summer camp each year. It’s one small way we can give back and help strengthen the community we’re proud to be part of.
Thank you to Camelot for Children for letting us play a small role in such meaningful work, and congratulations on 40 incredible years!
