LVHN Opens Second Neighborhood Hospital and Health Center in Gilbertsville

Congratulations to Lehigh Valley Health Network on the opening of their second Neighborhood Hospital and Health Center in Gilbertsville. The network opened its first Neighborhood Hospital and Health Center in Macungie back in March. The opening completes the new Gilbertsville medical Campus. The Neighborhood Hospital opened June 7 and the Health Center opened its doors on July 30. The new hospital has 11 emergency department beds, 10 inpatient beds, laboratory and imaging center. The health center will be home to rheumatology, adult and pediatric rehabilitation, breast health services, cardiac and nuclear testing, cardiology, HNL Lab Medicine, Orthopedics and sports medicine, pediatrics and primary care physicians.
