Patient comforts lead design

LVHN relocated their Oncology Unit to a new floor within the hospital. The Boyle team assisted in ensuring all the design details were executed with precision in the 16,000 SF space. Careful logistics planning was required between the operating floors above and below, especially during MEP installations. A total of 22 patient rooms were created along with 2 nursing stations and family amenities. Isolation rooms were installed to allow the utmost protection for these vulnerable patients which included negative and positive air pressure between patient and public areas. Knowing some patients may be living on the floor for awhile, LVHN staff and design team ensured all comforts were provided to ease the patients stay.
