Project Description

Boyle Construction completed a multi-phased renovation project at Blue, an upscale grill house and event center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Kicking off the project with a vengeance was Hurricane Irene storm damage, which caused the restaurant to temporarily close in the fall of 2011.

Boyle was able to get the restaurant and event center fully operational within a few months, with floor to ceiling renovations including high-end wall treatments, fixtures and a new private dining space accomplished by enclosing an outdoor patio.

As soon as the interior renovation was completed, Boyle started on a first-class timber structure outdoor bar. There was a tight time frame to be open and take advantage of the summer months. Boyle was able to meet all deadlines and budgets. The 2,000 SF outdoor bar has a sculptural fireplace that serves as a focal point for patrons and also provides warmth for near year-round dining and bar atmosphere. The granite surfaces provide an upscale vibe to this casual outdoor gather spot.

The final project phase completed renovations to the second floor meeting/private dining rooms. In addition to new finishes, the second floor now features a small bar. The meeting rooms are ideal for both corporate meetings and private family events.
