Hands on experience grows
The 10,000 SF Hartzell Technology Hall renovation updated this facility to train the future manufacturing workforce. NCC invested in improvements to the technology center which now features equipment used in modern manufacturing. With 12 labs students can study and gain practical experience in metallurgy, instrumentation, mechanical systems, motors, photovoltaic energy, heating and refrigeration, electronics, computer-aided design and 3D printing. The renovation features new finishes, equipment, lighting and furniture that better reflect NCC’s continually growing and advancing technology program. Boyle team led the subcontractor team to excel in retrofitting complicated MEP in an existing building.
