Boyle led a design-build team for a Fellowship Hall addition to the Heidelberg Union Church in Slatington. The 3,000 SF addition connects to the existing Church and complements its façade. The design incorporated original stained glass windows from the Church’s existing entry into the addition.
The new Fellowship Hall offers a large meeting room for various functions, seats up to 150 people and can be divided into smaller areas with a folding partition. The addition also includes a new commercial kitchen, new bathrooms, a janitor’s closet, bell choir storage, general storage and a new ADA accessible entrance to the Church.
The project also included stormwater management improvements in the parking areas, as well as a reconfiguring the parking lot for additional spaces and proper ADA slope accessibility.
