Project Description

The Bethlehem YMCA’s mission is to be the greater Bethlehem area community leader in providing services to enhance family life and healthy lifestyles and to help youth develop leadership qualities through values based on Christian principles. In pursuit of this mission, the Bethlehem YMCA renovated its 8,000 SF Auxiliary Gymnasium and added a 10,000 SF Fitness Center with a circular track. The renovation included installing a real wood athletic floor with full wall pads, new finishes and an efficient HVAC system.

Boyle provided preconstruction, budgeting, value engineering and bidding services, along with full-time site supervision. Onsite tasks included coordinating paperwork submittals, change orders and requests for information; administering weekly progress meetings; reviewing monthly invoices, submittals and change orders; and providing the overall construction schedule.
